A few nice things our guests have said about the house.

Fantastic House in beautiful scenery. We (two families with four kids in the age from 3-7) had a great and relaxing vacation! We spend a lot of time in the nice pool which is cleaned twice a week.

A beautiful house in a special environment! The house with swimming pool is beautifully situated between the Italian hills full of grain and sunflower fields. The house has everything you need for a good stay. And certainly nothing is missing in terms of kitchen items. In the vicinity of the house there are enough villages, towns and beaches for lots of entertainment.

Beautiful! So pleased to be here, it was an early start at 3am, but worth it! What a beautiful home and surroundings, I’m hoping some of those figs are ready, I have a small Buckinghamshire fig which is doing well but of course not like these. Thank you for the goodies in the fridge, very much appreciated and delicious for lunch. Lily has tried everything out in the garden and says she is lucky!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Lucciola and had a very relaxing time. You did an awesome job renovating this house and decorated it with great taste. I also appreciated the well equipped kitchen! Thanks again for having us!

Amazing! We just wanted to say we had a lovely time at Casa Lucciola which as I mentioned before was perfect for our family. You have done an amazing job of making it so comfortable and well equipped. The setting near Mogliano was perfect too although a shame we only got to visit on our last day. We hope to come back and explore the area more!

A relaxing holiday. It was a wonderful experience, the house is beautifully furnished with style and with everything you need. The pool was the icing on the cake. We hope to return soon.

A house for families. The house is organised to accommodate families even with small children, surrounded by greenery and silence. You can take walks in the surrounding area.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, and will certainly return in the future. The house is beautiful, the landscape stunning, and the locals warm and friendly. We needed somewhere that was safe and secure (children) and felt very relaxed when at the house, and even around the pool and surrounding area. Thank you for helping us make our first family holiday a relaxing and re-energise one. X

We had a fantastic time at Casa Lucciola. We know the region reasonably well and have been visiting Le Marche for ten years or so now. This was our best trip yet, and we ended up wishing we’d found this house years ago!

Our 3 kids (8, 6, and 4) loved the garden and especially the swing chair, and while the pool was of course a little chilly in April, it was a challenge keeping our eldest out of it. We made daily visits to the brilliant sandy beach at Porto San Giorgio (an easy 35 minute drive) and explored a number of the towns between the house and the coast. You’ll find brilliant food, wine, ice cream and hospitality wherever you go. But Il Quadrifoglio on the beach at Porto San Giorgio; Altramare just a block behind; Osteria del’Arco in Magliana di Tenna are all restaurants serving food of a very high standard, that would be twice the price in Tuscany or elsewhere. The best Ice Cream we found was in the beautiful town square at Servigliano.

This really is a wonderful part of Italy. It works superbly well year-round as a base for beaches and the mountains, and it’s a pleasure simply to get in the car (or on your bike if that way inclined) and see where the road takes you.

Thank you to Zoe (and Maja!) for making this such a great place to stay.

TOBY, STAYED APRIL 2019

We had a great stay at Zoe's house. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, kitchen well equipped and common space comfortable and cosy. I really liked the decorations that make it very homey: books, board games, lots of pillows and pretty pictures hanging on the walls.

I cried when we left, what an amazing home you have in an incredible place. We will definitely be back. I think I've found where I'd like to retire to. Mogliano and the area around are just beautiful.. What a discovery.

Casa Lucciola is the perfect house for families. The location is peaceful, interiors elegant and comfortable, grounds large and well equipped. Thank you so much for a blissful holiday.

As a family we are well travelled and rarely do we come home and sing the praises of such an amazing location and villa as we have on this occasion. We very much hope to stay at Casa Lucciola again and have already recommended it to many of our friends.

Anon (homeaway), STAYED august 2015

A beautiful house with everything you could need for children. The girls loved the pool and exploring the garden. We all had a fantastic time and loved the area too.

Everything was just perfect! The house was just as beautiful, tastefully furnished and well equipped as promised. The big garden was great for barbecuing, al fresco dining, relaxing in the hammocks, sunbathing… and the pool was bliss!

FAMILY M, STAYED JUNE 2013

Casa Lucciola delivered 100% of what was promised! We were six adults and six kids, and fit nicely. The house was clean, stylish and well equipped with plenty of room. Pool and trampoline were great with the kids.

RIKU S, STAYED JUNE 2012

Lovely tasteful and chic farmhouse and pool, a great space for our family of parents, older teenagers/younger 20's and assorted friends. Garden was a fab place to relax, pool was gorgeous, the surrounding hillltop towns enchanting and best of all it's in a completely unspoilt, authentic, friendly part of Italy.

Cathy J, Stayed September 2011

A proper holiday in authentic Italy. Comfortable and spacious house with clean and modern but friendly atmosphere.... can hide away or indulge in nearby italian cuisine and culture. Perfect for multiple/large families and groups of friends. Highly recommended.

Millie, stayed August 2010

Really recommend staying in this idylic, beautifully restored farmhouse in Le Marche next to a cracking village called Mogliano. We will certainly be going back.
